Draft Commander 3000

The Department of Defense is seeking information through a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) to determine industry capability for the Draft Commander 3000 Apparatus Pump Testing Unit or an equivalent product, with the intent to award a contract in the future. This procurement is designated as a 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 339999 and is managed by the FA4803 20 Cons Lgca office located at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The system is a mobile fire pump testing and training unit designed to perform true pump tests from draft in compliance with NFPA 1911 (2017 Edition), capable of testing pumps up to 3,000 GPM and utilizing recycled water for training purposes. Key components include a heavy-duty aluminum transporter not exceeding 6,500 lbs, 27 feet in length, 102 inches in width, and 87 inches in height, featuring a T-shaped poly reservoir with a minimum 3,000-gallon capacity equipped with anti-swirl plates and baffles. The unit must include a gas-powered hose tester with at least a 5.5-HP engine capable of testing hoses up to six inches in diameter, along with six 50-foot sections of 3-inch double-jacket hose (600-PSI test), a gauge test kit, a high-pressure pump test kit, and multiple NST adapters. Responses to the RFI must include a capability statement and price estimation and are to be submitted via email to Uriah Hinton and Joseph Nemedy by April 10, 2026, at 10:00 PM.
