The purpose of this posting is to publish the Draft RFP for the procurement of LED taxiway lighting fixtures. Please review the document in its entirety. In response to the Draft RFP issued, the Enterprise Sourcing Group (ESG) (P) will accept questions and comments submitted to the Contract Specialist, Martha Peterson, at Martha.Peterson@wpafb.af.mil. The subject line should clearly read: "Response to Draft RFP (DRFP-09-10-PKY)". Questions/Comments are due by 5:00pm, October 1, 2010. Potential offerors should submit all questions/comments as a single request; multiple requests will not receive a response. Questions and responses will be posted on FBO NLT Oct 8, 2010 and will not be sent directly to any potential offerors. All communications regarding this Draft RFP shall be accomplished via e-mail in writing (no mailed hard copies or phone calls will be accepted). All commuications will be handled through the Primary POC only. This Draft RFP does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This Draft RFP does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Draft RFP. All costs associated with responding to this Draft RFP will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this Draft RFP does not preclude participation in any future RFP. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov.
