Drive-On Fuel Containment System

The contractor shall provide all materials required for installation of, delivery of and set-up (including required equipment to position containment) of Drive-on fuel containment system located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The scope of this requirement includes: a permanent/relocatable drive on, steel construction secondary containment system with stainless steel hats and stainless steel removable grading. The side walls of the containment must be able to withstand a 10 ton Vehicle axle load being driven over the side walls. External side wall ramps are required. It must be able to be set-up and moved with standard material handling equipment such as forklifts and transported by flatbed. It must also have a certified filtration system and must meet all EPA and OSHA regulation for secondary containment. The containment area required is 24' W x 70' L x 10" T (external measurements), be able to be interlinked if set up in smaller sections for total coverage and draining purposes and capable of containing 7K gallons of fuel within the entire area. This is a commercial acquisition. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% HubZone Small Business Set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 3443; NAICS code 332312 and the related small business standard of 500 Employees. The contract will be a fixed price and cost reimbursement line item contract. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 21 August 2014. The Offer Due Date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation.
