Drone Surveys of Halton region Open and Closed Landfill Sites

The Region of Halton is soliciting proposals under solicitation number P-332-26 for drone surveys of its open and closed landfill sites. The primary objective is to obtain annual UAV survey reports, specifically starting with the 2026 report. The contract is scheduled to continue until April 30, 2029, with the Region maintaining the option to extend the agreement for two additional two-year periods and one final one-year transition period if necessary. Contractors are required to provide drone pilot certifications and complete the Owner's Construction Health and Safety for Consultants and Constructors training module before commencing work. The agreement mandates strict compliance with health, safety, and hazardous materials regulations, and requires the contractor to be responsible for all damages caused by their staff or subcontractors. Payments will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer, and the Region reserves the right to terminate the agreement upon thirty days written notice.
