The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) invites firms who have experience with rotary dryers to submit sealed proposals for a dryer train condition assessment. The District needs a Condition Assessment (CA) to evaluate the deficiencies of the aging drying equipment. This assessment is the first step in identifying Dryer deficiencies and prioritizing the rehabilitation of the Dryer equipment. This contract will conduct a CA of three Dryers to reveal and understand the Dryer deficiencies that will be corrected through rehabilitation in future phases of this project. The primary benefit of this CA and resulting rehabilitation project will be continued biosolids processing through D&D, producing Milorganite, and avoiding other more expensive means of disposal such as landfill or land application.
