Amendment 1 to solicitation 80GRC019P0042 for NASA GRC modifies the Statement of Work by removing the requirement for the system to interface with a 480VACLL input at 60Hz. This change does not extend the submission deadline. The procurement seeks a high voltage dual motor emulator to expand hybrid electric vehicle testing capabilities in Cleveland, Ohio. The required equipment must support two three-phase motors up to 275kW each or a single six-phase motor up to 550kW, with the ability to emulate permanent magnet and induction motors in four quadrant operation. Key technical specifications include support for phase currents from DC to 1500Hz AC, continuous sink capacity of 350Arms, and the ability to emulate various phase resistances, inductances, and faults. The system must communicate via CAN Bus, be water or WEG cooled, interface with 500VDC and 1000VDC power supplies without an isolation transformer, and include a graphical interface for command and control.
