The City of Ames, Iowa (City) is requesting bids from qualified Vendors for four (4) new dump trucks with snow and ice removal provisions. There will be no trade-in with this request. Vendors are invited to submit bids for equipment that meet or exceed the specifications.
Bids will be accepted by the City of Ames until 2:00 p.m. CDT on February 2, 2024, in AmesBids at amesbids.ionwave.net or delivered to City of Ames, Purchasing Attn: Procurement Specialist, 515 Clark Ave, Ames, IA 50010, City of Ames Contract No. 2024-101. Must be a registered supplier to submit a bid in AmesBids.
Questions and requests for clarification of requirements for this equipment are encouraged. All questions and requests for clarification to the Invitation to Bid shall be received no later than 5:00 p.m. CDT on January 26, 2024. Said questions are to be submitted in AmesBids at amesbids.ionwave.net. All bids shall be submitted in AmesBids at amesbids.ionwave.net or delivered to City of Ames, Purchasing Attn: Purchasing Manager, 515 Clark Ave, Ames, IA 50010. All bids received after the deadline for submission of proposals as stated herein shall not be considered and shall be return to the late Vendor unopened.
