DWR Extreme Climate Telemetry Program Central Valley Continuous Global Navigation Satellite System Installations

The California Department of Water Resources is forecasting a project under the Extreme Climate Telemetry Program to install continuously operating Global Navigation Satellite System (cGNSS) stations at three specific sites within Tulare and Kings Counties. The installations will be located west of Delano, north of Lemoore, and south of Lemoore. The primary objective of these stations is to measure three-dimensional positioning with a specific focus on vertical movement to monitor land subsidence. This initiative is designed to support groundwater monitoring and management efforts mandated by the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). The project is classified under NAICS code 541360 and has been granted a categorical exemption under Section 15036 for information collection.
