Notice of Intent Sole Source- AGFA US Corp The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award to AGFA US Corp, Address: 10 South Academy Street, P.O. Box 19048, Greenville, SC 29602. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. The purpose of the acquisition is to renovate the existing radiology room within the medical clinic at USCG Cape May, upgrade the hardware and software of the existing x-ray unit, and train the service personnel who will be using the DXD 400 High Frequency Radiographic System Suite unit currently located at Cape May NJ. The unit was transferred from Air Station Boriquen clinic to Cape May. AGFA is the manufacturer of the unit with factory trained technical service personnel and authorized installer. AGFA also has the proprietary rights for the software needed to upgrade the system. The installation and upgrade of this unit at Cape May will help to decrease excessive cost in the care and treatment of recruits needing x-ray services along with the unit already in place just needing to be upgraded. This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG's intent to sole source. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. All responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Melony Suber via email to contact@example.gov by 5:00pm EST on August 26, 2019 reference no. 70Z02319QP1A02600. If the Agency does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the specified date, negotiations will be conducted with AGFA as the only source and a delivery order will be issued without any additional notices being posted. As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made. This notice constitutes all of the USCG's public notice requirements.

USCG - Response Boat, Small Third Generation (RB-S III)
Solicitation # USCG-RB-S-III-2026
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to design, build, test, and deliver the Response Boat, Small Third Generation (RB-S III) to replace the aging 29-foot RB-S II fleet. This small business set-aside acquisition involves the procurement of up to 400 boats for the USCG and 100 modified variants for other federal agencies. The contractor will be responsible for providing the vessels, trailers, full logistics and supply support, technical documentation, and configuration management. The RB-S III is intended for diverse missions, including search and rescue, migrant interdiction, and law enforcement. The government intends to award up to four Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a ten-year ordering period, consisting of a five-year base and a five-year option. The acquisition follows a two-phase methodology: Phase I involves the award of the IDIQ contracts based on technical and conceptual designs, and Phase II requires each awardee to build a demonstration vessel for an in-water evaluation. Ultimately, one contractor will be selected for the remaining production orders. The contracts will utilize Firm-Fixed-Price and Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment line items. Solicitation is expected by the end of Fiscal Year 2026, with awards anticipated in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2027.
