Technical Services Communications and Information Services (CIS) is a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) section located at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden. The mission of the CIS is to provide information technology services and support for IT services to Canadian Forces Base Borden military units. CIS personnel require regular training for maintenance of existing skills and to learn new technologies and skills. Training is required in the areas of IT services, IT hardware, software and IT support soft skills such as IT Service Management, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), client communication and project management. To conform with the Government of Canada’s green procurement initiatives, to reduce expenses, and to ensure the safety of our personnel; the majority of required training will be delivered via e-learning. It is intended to issue one Contract. The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Please refer to the RFP Annex - Technical Evaluation Criteria for the complete list of mandatory evaluation criteria. The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.
