Category - Histology Equipment Sub Category - Microtomes The objective of this requirement is to have an unused, functional, and fully automated ultramicrotome purchased, shipped, installed, and operating in a lab of RTRD, BCS, FD, HC, located at 251 Sir Frederick Banting Driveway, Ottawa, ON. K1A 0K9. The instrument will provide capability of generating ultrathin sections that can be used on electron microscope where cellular and subcellular structural changes can be visualized and nanoparticles and microplastics can be localized and quantified. Such information is required for risk assessment and regulatory decision making. The responsive bidder already holding a Supply arrangement for Laboratory and Scientific Equipment, Parts and Accessories, Services and Supplies from Public Works and Government Services Canada who meets the mandatory technical criteria with the lowest aggregate price will be recommended for contract award.
