Earlimart Sheriff Substation Paving Project

The Earlimart Sheriff Substation Paving Project involves the complete repaving of deteriorated parking areas at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Substation in California, with the removal of existing oiled sand and asphalt materials and the installation of new asphalt concrete over an improved aggregate base to ensure long-term durability. Moderate grading adjustments will be made to facilitate on-site stormwater retention basins, enhancing environmental resilience while maintaining the integrity of previously upgraded ADA-compliant parking and pedestrian pathways, which will remain undisturbed. Accompanying the paving work, drought-tolerant landscaping will be added to reduce water use and improve site aesthetics. The project benefits both law enforcement personnel and the general public who use the facility’s parking areas. All work is being coordinated by Tulare County with key contacts including Gary Mills, Jessica Wills, and Mark A Van Fossen, and the project was forecasted for release on June 5, 2026, through the CEQA Net portal.
