AI Contract Overview
The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the East Palatka Drainage – Phase 4 project, which involves clearing and removing vegetative and non-vegetative debris from the drainageway of Dog Branch, extending from its connection with the St. Johns River to the Edgefield Regional Stormwater Treatment pump station. The scope includes debris removal such as trees, brush, trash, and vegetative mats, with incidental sediment removal, but does not require dredging of the waterway. The project’s base bid encompasses all labor, materials, equipment, and services needed to access and clear the drainageway according to specified plans and standards. The contract is estimated to be valued between $500,000 and $1,500,000, with a response deadline of June 20, 2024.
