The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Reimbursable order under existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0014 to General Atomics (GA), San Diego, CA. This order is for the procurement of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), ECP-I- Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS)-0066 Block Switch Controller (BSC) Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) Hardware Obsolescence and Firmware Upgrade, in support of Ford Class Carriers to resolve hardware reliability and processing capacity issues within the currently installed EMALS BSC Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA).
