The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, has awarded N00019-15-G-0026-N00019-19-F-0272 P00011, N00019-15-C-0002 P00049, N00019-17-C-0018 P00020, and N00019-18-C-1028 P00014 to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), San Diego, CA, on a sole source basis to replace and/or modify with filters the Interface Co-site Equipment (ICE) units and the LINc Communications Unit (LCU) on MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft (UA), Main Operating Base (MOB) and Forward Operating Base (FOB) assets. This Acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, - Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the MQ-4C Triton UAS UA, MOB and FOB, NGC is the only contractor with the requisite technical knowledge, expertise, and technical data that can meet the Government's needs within the program's cost and schedule constraints.
