Egg Delivery

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Canaan, Waymart, Pennsylvania, intends to issue solicitation RFQ21504001-9, for the acquisition of fresh and liquid eggs. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of November 1, 2008 through October 31, 2009. Quantities are estimated and are not guaranteed. The estimated yearly quantities are approximately 70,200 dozen of size medium or larger U.S. Grade A fresh eggs and approximately 78,000 lbs of liquid eggs. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary, Institution Warehouse, 3057 Easton Turnpike, Bldg C., Waymart, PA 18472. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 14, 2008 and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov.
