El Dorado Senior Housing Annexation

The El Dorado Irrigation District is pursuing the annexation of two parcels totaling 8.08 acres located at 6464 Koki Lane in El Dorado, California, to facilitate the construction of an affordable, age-restricted community housing development by El Dorado Senior Housing, LLC. The project scope involves the installation of 620 linear feet of water line and 100 linear feet of sewer line to provide necessary utility services. The District has confirmed sufficient water supply and wastewater capacity to support the development, and the parcels are situated within the District's sphere of influence. Identified as LAFCO Project No. 2024-02 under LAFCO Resolution Number L-2025-06, the project is led by El Dorado LAFCO with the El Dorado Irrigation District serving as the Responsible Agency. The project is granted a statutory exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act under CEQA Guidelines Section 15282(k) and Public Resources Code Section 21080.21, as the utility pipeline installations are under one mile in length and located within public rights-of-way.
