This sources sought notice has been issued to survey the market and assist the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in determining possible sources for consideration. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. The USCG is conducting market research to seek sources that have the capability to supply one (1) Electric Aircraft Mover, Part Number Mototok TWIN LB 7500 MH-60 that includes all the salient characteristics on Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics - 70Z03824IJ0000034. The purpose is to test and evaluate its capability of traversing the MH-60 aircraft series aboard USCG Cutters. The item(s) must be new manufactured commercial items with traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Mototok America, LLC. (Cage Code 6X2T3). Traceability means a clear, complete, documented, and auditable paper trail which traces each step from the OEM to its current location. The offeror must be able to provide a Certificate of Conformance in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.246-15. Offeror's must be able to provide necessary certification including traceability to the manufacturer, manufacturer's COC and its own certificate of conformance. After the review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the SAM.gov website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not adequate responses to any future solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis.
