The City of Cooper City is soliciting proposals under RFQ2026-2 for the development of a comprehensive Stormwater Master Plan (SWMP) covering approximately 8.5 square miles. Funded through the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Watershed Planning Program, the project aims to identify flood-prone areas, assess water-quality practices, and improve the community's National Flood Insurance Program Community Rating System score to increase overall flood resiliency. The scope of work is divided into two primary tasks: the creation of a preliminary SWMP based on initial flood modeling and the finalization of the SWMP for adoption into the Local Mitigation Strategy. The total estimated value for these tasks is 281,000 dollars, with a period of performance extending from the date of execution through May 31, 2028. Proposals must be submitted via the OpenGov Procurement Portal by November 30, 2026.
