Electrical Repairs and Upgrades at Annex Freedom Hall

The U.S. Embassy Riyadh, Department of State, is seeking qualified contractors to perform electrical repairs and upgrades at Annex Freedom Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under solicitation number 19SA7026Q0008. The scope of work includes upgrading and expanding the existing electrical infrastructure to support new office loads, with specific tasks such as AC power provisions, distribution panel upgrades, LED lighting replacement, workstation circuit installations, cable routing and terminations, and coordination with mechanical and civil disciplines. All work must comply with the latest National Electrical Code, International Building Code, OSHA 29 CFR 1926, host nation regulations, U.S. Government safety and security protocols, and OBO Design Standards. Key deliverables include technical specifications, shop drawings, a Quality Control Plan aligned with OBO standards, functional testing reports, as-built drawings in PDF and CAD formats, updated panel schedules, warranties, a two-year workmanship guarantee, and an inventory of removed equipment. Performance is required within 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with work authorized only on Sundays through Thursdays between 08:00 and 17:00 local time, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Contracting Officer’s Representative, who is the Facility Electrical Engineer.
