The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division plans to modify contract N00164-02-C-0059 to include three additional line items for option quantities, totaling up to an additional 135 production hardware kits. These kits are intended to support the AN/SLQ-32 System by replacing existing system components and updating the operating software. The modification will also cover the option quantity of 72 units previously awarded but not exercised, along with additional first article test units. This procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis and awarded to Northrop Grumman P.R.B., Hollywood, Maryland, as they are the only supplier with the necessary drawings, test procedures, and software code to manufacture the required kits. The contract modification will be firm fixed priced, with delivery set on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the NSWC Crane Division in Indiana, and inspection and acceptance will be conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency at the source. The decision to sole source this requirement follows Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a), given that no other vendor can meet the agency’s needs. The modification supports ongoing production for known requirements under the Electronic Surveillance Enhancement (ESE) Countermeasure System, and the schedule for delivery will follow the terms specified in the contract. The point of contact for this procurement is Ms. Luann Shelton, reachable at the provided phone number.
