EMANUEL COUNTY 2026 LRA RESURFACING PROJECT

The 2026 Emanuel County LRA Resurfacing Project, issued by the Emanuel County Board of Commissioners, involves the resurfacing of approximately 6.4 miles of roadway in Georgia. The scope of work is divided into two primary areas: the resurfacing of eight roads in the Ranch Park Community off Meadowlake Parkway totaling 2.9 miles, and the resurfacing of Norristown-Covena Road from US HWY 221 to GA HWY 56 for 3.5 miles. Required activities include patching, leveling, striping, and shoulder building, with the Ranch Park section specifically requiring storm drain improvements and the Norristown-Covena section requiring an asphalt surface course. All work must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds each totaling 100 percent of the contract amount. Additionally, the contractor must maintain comprehensive general liability, commercial automobile liability, and statutory worker's compensation insurance with minimum limits of 1,000,000 dollars per occurrence, as well as employee dishonesty coverage of 50,000 dollars per occurrence.
