Embassy Internet Services Solicitation

Dear Prospective Offeror, The American Embassy in Cairo is advertising the solicitation for the Embassy Internet Services. The solicitation will be post on our web site along with any updates or changes so please continually view it (http://egypt.usembassy.gov/contracts.html). Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for this solicitation. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The pre-proposal conference will be on May 31st, 2015 at 10:00 am at 8 Kamal El-Din Salah St. Garden City, Cairo, Egypt. In order to attend the pre-proposal conference, you are kindly requested to provide the name and Egyptian ID/Passport number of each of your representatives that will attend maximum by May 27th, 2015. Please e-mail this information to CairoContracts@state.gov to prepare for your access to the Embassy premises. Your two copies of your offer must be submitted by hand in a sealed envelope marked: "Proposal Enclosed for Embassy Internet Solicitation" to the Procurement & Contracting Office, 8 Kamal El Din Salah St., Cairo II Building, 3rd Floor, on or before Jun 28th, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
