Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Bound Tree Medical, LLC; Buyer's Point, LLC; Henry Schein, Inc.; Life-Assist, Incorporated; Medical Equipment Sales, Inc.; Nashville Medical & EMS Products, Inc.; Quadmed, Inc.; and Stryker Sales, LLC, in an aggregate amount of $90,000.82, for a 15 day period to be distributed across the awarded contracts based upon the Fire Rescue Department’s need for emergency medical supplies. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(24) of the County’s Procurement Policy as it is for emergency medical supplies, and it has been determined that a competitive procurement process is not practicable or in the County’s best interest. An anticipated products list is included; however, it is not all inclusive and is based upon pricing currently received by the Fire Rescue Department. Pricing for goods requested will be provided via competitive quotes from the awarded Contractors at the time of the order. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached product list must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge of the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made.
