The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is seeking qualified providers to deliver comprehensive Energy and Water Sustainability Education Programs targeting students in grades K through 12 across schools receiving utility services from the department. These programs must integrate environmental literacy and STEAM principles to educate students on Anaheim’s local energy and water sources, conservation practices, renewable energy technologies, and career pathways in the utility sector. Deliverables include developing and implementing classroom curricula, conducting student-led home assessments, facilitating outdoor and center-based field trips, and engaging in outreach and public events. The contract has a potential five-year term and requires in-person or virtual program delivery, with strict compliance to Next Generation Science Standards and safety regulations from CAL/OSHA, FED/OSHA, and the EPA.
