The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane plans to modify an existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for engine exhaust nozzles held by Unison Engine Components in Manchester, Connecticut. This modification will extend the contract period by three years and increase the ceiling by adding 112 units to Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001. Deliveries will be FOB Origin, and the contract is governed outside FAR Part 12 regulations. The procurement is a sole source award due to the Government's lack of necessary level III hardware documentation and specialized tooling, which restricts full and open competition. As such, only Unison Engine Components will be solicited and negotiated with for this extension under authority provided by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While the synopsis is posted on federal acquisition sites for informational purposes, no formal solicitation will be publicly issued because of the sole source nature. Interested parties can request the request for proposal and submit capability statements for Government consideration. The action aligns with FAR 6.302-1 procedures, and the point of contact for this contract modification is Taylor Guthrie at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane office in Indiana. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336412, reflecting the aerospace product and parts manufacturing sector.

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER - N00164-08-D-WT02- ENGINE EXHAUST NOZZLE. INC., 967 Parker Street, Manchester, CT 08042-2208. The extension will cover a three year period. Specifically, the Government intends to increase CLIN 0001 by 112 units over the three year period.
