ENGINEERING DESIGN OF THE WOODBINE WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The City of Markham is soliciting bids for the Engineering Design of the Woodbine Watermain Replacement Project, identified by solicitation number 216-R-26. The project requires a qualified consulting engineering firm to provide detailed design and tender-document preparation for the full replacement and realignment of approximately 650 meters of 400 mm diameter DR18 PVC watermain. The work area extends along Woodbine Avenue from Esna Park Drive to 14th Avenue. The new watermain must be aligned to avoid the loading influence of existing catch basins, while the existing watermain from the mid-1980s will generally be abandoned in place. The selected consultant will be responsible for all investigations, engineering, approvals, stakeholder coordination, and tender support necessary to ensure a complete and constructible design.
