Engineering Services For Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Services for the Northeast Florida

The Florida Department of Management Services (DMS), Division of Real Estate Development and Management, is soliciting qualifications through RFQ REDM2526-07 for professional engineering services in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) for the Northeast Florida region. While the primary focus is the Northeast Florida area, these continuing contracts may be utilized for projects anywhere in the State of Florida. The scope of work encompasses new construction and renovations, including HVAC and building control systems, plumbing, fire protection, power and lighting, low and medium voltage services, fire alarm facility assessment reports, cost estimates, and life cycle cost analysis. The anticipated contract start date is August 31, 2026, with a response deadline of September 14, 2026. Selection is based on a qualifications-based process in accordance with section 287.055, F.S. Evaluation factors include office location proximity to project sites, previous fee volume for state agency work, current workload, proposed staff experience, relevant design experience, and contract delivery ability. The process involves a preliminary screening to select at least three highly qualified firms for interviews and presentations before final selection.
