Full Description

This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to provide Engineering Services for the AN/ALQ-161 Band 8 RF Source RF Assemblies. The Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) provides for engineering services to resolve Obsolete Part and Vanishing Vendor issues with the Switched RF Filter. RF amplifier, Variable RF Attenuator and Switched RF Modulator of the AN/ALQ-161 System. This effort will also solve part availability problems. The contractor will consider an increase in the reliability and maintainability of the system during this effort. Prototypes will be built to validate performance of the modified designs and manufacturing processes. Period of Performance shall be 18 months after receipt of order (ARO).
