Description of goods to services to be bid: The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) seeks proposals from firms to provide professional engineering services for NYSERDA’s West Valley Site Management Program at the Western New York Nuclear Service Center near West Valley, New York. The objective of this RFP is to select one or more teams experienced in the following engineering disciplines. Geo-technical Investigations, Landfill Design, Geo-synthetic testing and design and Erosion Mitigation design. If changes are made to this solicitation notification will be posted on NYSERDA’s website at: www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: Proposers should have in-depth experience in conducting engineering investigations, data collection and review, analysis and design in the disciplines described under the services to be provided. Proposers shall also have extensive experience working at hazardous waste sites and/or closed landfills and working with radioactive materials. Proposers should have experience providing high quality reports, including modelling, cost estimates and design. Personnel performing activities will have current Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training in accordance Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910.120. Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: McMahon and Mann Consulting Engineering and Geology, P.C.
