This is a synopsis in regards for a fence and gate requirement with performance on Al Dhafra Air Base, subject to availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. Contractor shall provide material, means, and labor in their entirety as required to construct/install 2 fences totaling 175 linear meters in distance adjacent to building 1309 at Al Dhafra Air Base. The inner security fence will be 37 linear meters, 2.1 meters tall with a 3 strand barbed wire top angled outward at a 45 degree angle with a final height of 2.4 meters. The inner fence will also have tan colored privacy mesh installed on the inside and outside of the fence. The inner security fence will have one (1) 1 m wide single leaf personnel gate of same height and material standards as the inner fencing material. The outer perimeter fence will be 138 linear meters long and 2.1 meters tall. The outer fence will have two (2) 1 m wide single leaf personnel gates and five (5) 3.75 m wide double leaf vehicle gates of the same height and material standards as the outer fencing material. The inner fence will also have tan colored privacy mesh installed on the outside of the fence. All fencing will be galvanized wire mesh, the fabric will be 9 gauge and will be Tan in color as illustrated and described by the Project Documentation, and in accordance with this Scope of Work and the procedures of the United States Government Contracting Officer. A solicitation may be posted on or about the 28th of April 2013, depending upon availability of funds. Solicitation number and date of issue may be updated by amendment to this notice.
