EP916-241059 Peacekeeping Monument Rehabilitation R.118016.001
The project is to rehabilitate the existing National Peacekeeping Monument site, along with associated electrical, concrete and architectural/landscaping work to meet the following main issues:
Health and Safety – Fix for the long-term all public safety hazards. This is to include fixing surficial issues and providing adequate lighting to improve the safety and security of users at night; Integrity – Restore the monument to the designer’s original intent; and Security and Ease of Use -Maintain and enhance where possible the health and safety, security, and experience of the public by providing improved site amenities that meet current codes, standards, and best practices for key government objectives such as sustainability and universal accessibility.
