The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information). EPCOR is seeking a qualified contractor to undertake the demolition and construction of work described in Appendix 1 - Schedule D at EPCOR Hugh J. Bolton North Service Center (NSC) located at 12116 107 St NW Edmonton, AB. Engineering design firm LRDL has provided design documents to upgrade the transmission oil storage system at NSC which includes demolition and construction of transmission oil piping, addition of electrical and controls to existing system, and retrofit of mechanical systems. The Successful Proponent will review this design package and bid the project on the basis of work described therein. Engineering design firm WSP has provided design documents to upgrade the concrete containment structure around transmission oil storage tanks at NSC and ancillary associated upgrades. In addition to the above scope of work, the qualified contractor is to provide demolition and construction services as described in Appendix 1 - Schedule D at EPCOR South Service Centre (SSC) located at 8743 58 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. Engineering design firm WSP has provided design documents to retrofit the oil tank farm at SSC and has provided design details for demolition and construction for upgrades required to the existing fire alarm and fire suppression system and ancillary associated upgrades.
