AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE8ES-26-T-2517 is a requirement issued by DLA Distribution San Joaquin for 17 epoxy coating kits (NSN 8010-01-496-3876). Each kit consists of one liter of component A base (part number 750-450-004) and one liter of component B catalyst (part number 656-450-002), totaling two liters of clear coating. The contract specifies a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months, with the start date calculated from the date of shipment. Delivery is required within 79 days of the solicitation issue date, with a required delivery date of November 26, 2026, shipped FOB Destination to the San Joaquin Distribution Center in Tracy, California. The contractor must adhere to strict packaging and marking standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and MIL-STD-129 for marking, which must include lot or batch numbers. Because the kits contain hazardous materials, the contractor must comply with OSHA Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200, providing Safety Data Sheets and compliant labels for review and approval prior to award. Additional requirements include maintaining supply chain traceability documentation per DLA Directive C03 and utilizing the Wide Area Workflow system for all invoicing and payment requests. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination.
