■ Only the following five Contractors can bid on this project as a Prime Contractor:• Calex Engineering• Clarke Contracting• Jilk Heavy Construction, Inc.• Mike Prlich & Sons, Inc.• Mladen Buntich Construction Company▬ ♦ This project provides emergency erosion control mitigation measures to protect and repair damaged streets and right-of-way from further storm damage, as needed. These conditions of damaged streets during rain events are a threat to public safety. The implementation of erosion control measures will assist in safe passage to pedestrians and use of the roadways, as well as to reduce further deterioration of the damage. The work will consist of the removal of old and deteriorated sandbags, placement of new sandbags, removal of old and damaged asphalt concrete (AC) paving and AC berm, installation of new AC paving, AC berm, construction of a pipe and board structure and a metal beam guard rail, and removal and haul away of soil, rock, weathered bedrock, and construction and vegetative debris. ♦ All contract work must be completed within 42 calendar days from the NTP.
