THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. In accordance with DFARS 205.205-71 and PGI 206.302-1(d) the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing the subject sources sought to seek sources capable of providing brand-name commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) VMWare software licenses in support of the Chief Information Officer / G6 (CIO/G6). The Agency intends to award a firm fixed price order to Carahsoft Technology under contract W91QUZ-09-A-0003 utilizing the authority at FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) and 8.405-6(b)(1) the supplies to be ordered are unique or highly specialized by brand name. Additionally, only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required. In accordance with AFAR 5139 and DFARS 208.7402, Carahsoft's competitively awarded Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is a mandatory source of supply. The NAICS code for this procurement is 511210 with a size standard of $25 Million. The anticipated award date is on or before 01 July 2016.
