Full Description

Notice of Intent The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington, DC intends to award a sole source contract to Eurekahedge PTE LTD., 101C Telok Ayer Street, Singapore 068574. The period of performance will include one base period and one (1) one (1) year Option Period beginning on July 21, 2013 through July 20, 2015. The contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order for a contract to provide the Commission with access to Eurekahedge's North American Hedge Funds Database. The database shall be available for download in compressed zip files via the Internet. The Internet accessible data must be from a site licensed and copyrighted by Eurekahedge PTE LTD. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and the Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposal, or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation or additional information will be made available with regard to this sole source notice.
