AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by July 25, 2024 by 14:00 EDT. All bids submitted after 14:00 EDT will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. This the procurement is limited for bidding among Indigenous businesses, see SI 01.The project will include interior and exterior renovations of the structured intervention unit, at the CSC Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert SK. The work generally consists of alterations to the Unit 6 Building in order to facilitate time outside of cells for inmates held in segregation, in line with the Human Rights Tribunal order. This includes the conversion of a kitchenette to a program room, a conversion to provide a common room space, associated detention doors, as well as HVAC, lighting, inmate telephone, and camera and intercom systems, and office upgrades for prison staff including lighting, millwork, shelving, and finishes. There will be an optional site visit on May 29, 2024 @ 1 :00PM CST at the CSC Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
