Event Staging System

Lander University is soliciting proposals under RFP-SP-592-10-08-2026 for the procurement and delivery of a commercially manufactured, modular, and portable event staging system. The system will be used for educational, athletic, performing arts, and community events, including occasional outdoor use. Key technical requirements include modular rectangular stage decks with a minimum live load capacity of 150 pounds per square foot and compliance with ADA, OSHA, IBC, IFC, NFPA, and ANSI safety standards. The contractor is responsible for providing ADA ramp quantities and must remove all packaging and shipping materials from the delivery site in Greenwood, South Carolina. Proposals must be submitted in two separate sealed volumes, consisting of a technical proposal and a fee/cost proposal, by October 8, 2026, at 3:00 pm EST. Electronic copies on CD, DVD, or USB drive are also required. Evaluation will be based on a point system, with the fee/cost proposal weighted at 30 points and service and support weighted at 15 points. The highest-ranked responsive offeror may be selected for award, with the Procurement Officer reserving the right to negotiate price or scope. Required submission documents include a signed cover page, vendor application form, W-9, and certifications for the S.C. Drug-Free Workplace Act and open trade compliance.
