This project will conduct routine maintenance to preserve the hydraulic conduits (culverts) that transport water beneath the roadways located on the Everglades National Park. The culvert system in Flamingo contains 117 structures ranging between 12” – 48” diameter and 12’ – 87’ in length.
The maintenance of the culvert system requires two activities: cleaning and inspection. Cleaning of each culvert entails removal of any sediment and debris that could clog the system to inhibit water flow. Ins
