AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the installation of two new mooring docks at COMLARA Park/Evergreen Lake, each measuring 105 feet in length, including gangways and ramps, with six wings or fingers per dock. The docks will consist of three main sections, each 25 feet long, with additional wing/finger sections of 24 feet, all constructed from galvanized steel frames, and equipped with cleats, spuds, and floats designed to support the structure and vessel mooring. The floats are foam-filled, encapsulated, and sized to withstand specific pressure loads, ensuring stability and durability. Concrete squares will serve as walkway decking, providing a solid surface, while the entire system will incorporate safety features such as rubber bumpers, edge protection, and non-slip decking surfaces. The project also includes the addition of two 30-foot aluminum gangways with handrails, transition plates, and floating mechanisms to accommodate water level fluctuations. All components must adhere to ADA requirements, and the contractor is responsible for coordinating installation to avoid disrupting ongoing activities at the site. The scope covers all aspects of construction, handling, freight, and debris removal, ensuring a clean and functional installation upon completion. The contract emphasizes comprehensive project management, safety, and accessibility, with detailed specifications for materials, dimensions, and installation procedures to ensure a robust and compliant mooring system at Evergreen Lake.
