The subject solicitation is approved for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) through the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Emergency Watershed Protection Program, the NRCS, and the Sponsor the Pike County Engineer, propose to contract a streambank stabilization project along Chenoweth Fork Road and Red Bridge Road. The project is located in Sunfish and Benton Townships, Pike County, Ohio. The contract name is: Chenoweth Fork - Red Bridge Road The job consists of - 287 C.Y. of Rock Riprap Type B and 278 C.Y. of Rock Riprap Type C, associated drainfill, and channel clearing and shaping. The total project cost is estimated between $25,000.00 and $75,000.00 Evaluators will not make assumptions regarding missing or incomplete data. Incomplete quotes or quotes received after closing deadline will be deemed "Non-Responsive" and not considered for award. The Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit the government or the expenditure of public funds in connection with this proposed acquisition and is the only person authorized to make changes to this IFB or any resulting contracts award. A Site Showing will be held at the listed "Place of Contract Performance" on July 27th, 2012 at 10:00am and will be conducted by Greg Wells +1 (555) 000-0000 Ext. 128 Remarks and explanations at the site showing SHALL NOT qualify the terms of the solicitation.
