The Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is accepting proposals for Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance. ***RFP submission deadline is Friday July 14, 2026*** Lewisville ISD's objectives are two-fold in maintaining a self-insured program for their Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Exposure. They are: Reduce workers' compensation costs by self-insuring a portion of its workers' compensation risk to reduce direct costs and maximize indirect cost savings by capturing the cash flow savings associated with self-insurance. Establish a stable workers' compensation program and enter into a long-term relationship with a financially strong stop-loss carrier. All responses to this proposal shall be for a one (1) year agreement between the District and the provider with four (4) successive one (1) year extensions, based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties not to exceed five (5) years total. The effective date of the Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance will be September 1, 2026. Initial Term: September 2026 – August 2027 Second Term : September 2027 – August 2028 Third Term: September 2028 – August 2029 Fourth Term: September 2029 – August 2030 Fifth and Final Term: September 2030 – August 2031 **Responses will not be opened or read publicly. Responses will not be opened until after RFP #3366-26 closes.**
