AG-7442-S-11-0012 USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Wilson County, Texas. The project provides for the stabilization of erosion, construction of timber headwalls and Rock rip-rap armoring; debris removal from channel to prevent future runoff and damage to county road and flooding homes. Work must be completed in accordance with terms, conditions, specifications and drawings. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted o/a December 2, 2010. This is an exigency solicitation. Contract will be awarded within 2 hours of bid opening. Contractors must be prepared to mobilize the following day. The contractors will be given 7 days for mobilization. Work week is Monday thru Sunday with the exception of December 25-26, 2010 and January 1-2, 2011. Total period of performance is 25 calendar days. The Site Showing is scheduled for December 7, 2010 at 10:00 am CST, at EWP site 1-03 on County Road 125, in Wilson County, TX and is mandatory.
