Full Description
The SFMTA is requesting Proposals from qualified firms to perform a rehabilitation and modernization of two historic Streetcars, as described in this RFP, so that they may be safely operated in daily revenue service. SFMTA may award a contract to the Proposer that meets the Minimum Qualifications (see Section III of this RFP) and whose Proposal receives the highest-ranking score. Proposers must provide documentation that clearly demonstrates that each Minimum Qualification and each Small Business Enterprise (SBE) requirement has been met. Any Proposal that does not meet the Minimum Qualifications and SBE subcontracting participation requirements will be deemed non-responsive. The SFMTA encourages Proposers to attend a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference via Microsoft Teams on August 7, 2024, at 2PM PT. Proposers may register for the Pre-Proposal Conference and submit questions following the instructions included in RFP Section VI.A. The SFMTA will address Proposers’ questions and will provide any new or additional information concerning the RFP or selection process at the Pre-Proposal Conference. The RFP and associated documents are attached to this Sourcing Event. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please follow the submission instructions provided in the RFP document. Proposals will not be accepted through the City and County of San Francisco's Supplier Portal website. Proposals are due on October 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM PT.
