The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD) intends to issue a sole source extension of up to three (3) months to the current contract, 70RFP319DE3000002, with Paragon Systems, Inc. (13900 Lincoln Park Dr Ste 300, Herndon, VA 20171).

This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer (PSO) services throughout the State of Virginia. This extension from May 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026, will allow time to award and transition the follow-on effort for these services.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Paragon Systems, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304 (a)(l) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to sam.gov following award.
