External Data Line Services - Fort Gordon, Georgia

The quote/proposal and supporting documentation shall be submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Abraham Pottenger at abraham.g.pottenger.civ@mail.mil by the date and time specified on the SF-1449, Block #8. 1.0 Requirements. The Contractor will provide external data line services to include: 1.1 50 MB (up speed and down speed) Ethernet data line and associated vendor provided equipment to allow copper connection to Government owned router. 1.2 Minimum of a /26 Public IP address space. 1.3 95% or greater quality of service. 1.4 Access to contractor technical support Monday - Friday during normal business hours (8:00 AM ET - 5:00 PM ET). 1.5 24/7 Access to emergency service in the event of Ethernet data line outage. 1.6 The vendor must demonstrate authorization from the Fort Gordon (e.g. past performance, letter of approval from Ft Gordon NEC etc.) installation to provide Ethernet data line services directly to the TATRC MHIC facilities (see Section 4.4 for exact location). 2.0 Tasks. The Contractor will perform the following tasks: 2.1 Successfully install the 50 MB data line which provides this level of service for both up speed and down speed via an underground connection. 2.2 Maintain the 50 MB data line operations with consistent up speed and down speed for Army related missions 2.3 Provide technical support services as required and requested by the government points of contact (POCs). 2.4 The actual circuit termination address is: TATRC-MHIC 209 7th Alley, Room 122 Building 38711 Fort Gordon, GA 30905-5650 2.5 The Dedicated Ethernet connection to that building should be a 50 Mbps, or better connection with at least a /26 IP Address block. 2.6 The government is responsible for the downstream routing and sub netting of the Ethernet line once it is dropped and operational in Building 38711, Room 122. 2.7 The Government is responsible for all Access Control Lists (ACLs) on government owned routers and switches contained within the network enclave. The Vendor is responsible for circuit security and upstream packet security outside of the government network enclave. An offeror is expected to submit sufficient information in response to the RFP/RFQ to allow for the evaluation of his/her quotation. Questions concerning this RFQ are due no later than 11:00 AM EST on 16 May 2016. Questions shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Abraham Pottenger at abraham.g.pottenger.civ@mail.mil. The Government will accept only one set of questions per Offeror and questions not submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist will not be answered. In the event multiple questions address the same issue, the Government reserves the right to answer a representative question that best exemplifies the issue. No questions will be accepted or addressed after the cutoff date and time listed above.
