AI Contract Overview
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed price purchase order to Innovative Imaging and Research for Extreme High Dynamic Range and Hyperspectral Imaging Camera systems, citing unique capabilities including high-speed frame rate ratios of 400 to 1000 fps, proprietary user interfaces, and display technology not available from any other manufacturer. This non-competitive action is justified under FAR 12.102(a) based on the absence of alternative sources capable of meeting the government’s specific technical requirements, with the North American Industry Classification System code 334310 and Product Service Code 6710 applicable to the procurement. Interested parties may respond to this Notice of Intent by July 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. EST to demonstrate that competition would be advantageous, but only electronic submissions via email to IHD_Code0261@us.navy.mil will be accepted, and all responders must be registered in the System for Award Management. Oral communications are prohibited, and no costs incurred in responding will be reimbursed; the government retains full discretion to proceed without competition regardless of responses received.
