This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation dated 2023-03-29 with a closing of 2023-04-18 at 11:00am Pacific.
Work Description:
RCMP requires the replacement of the existing fire alarm system to new addressable type in RCMP detachment located at 5 Sawtooth Road, Telegraph Creek, British Columbia.General work to be performed: · Replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new addressable system. This will include replacing of all existing fire alarm components with new and adding new devices where required and noted. · Provision of all work and material including conduit/wiring installation from telephone closet for connection of new fire alarm system to a 3rd party monitoring company as the existing fire alarm system is not monitored. · Existing conduit and wiring may be reused if the installation methodology and cabling types are appropriate for the new fire alarm system and meet the applicable codes. · New raceway and wiring installation to suit new devices. · Provision of fire watch to meet National Fire Code requirements at any time the building is occupied and the fire alarm system or part thereof is non-operational. · Detailed work plan including a project schedule and phasing prior to start of the work. · Provision of detailed shop drawings. · Provision of all close out documents including as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manual. · Provision of all required testing, verification and training services.
