National Incident Management Assistance Teams are rapidly deployable assets that provide FEMA’s initial coordination and response capability prior to and in the immediate hours following a serious incident or disaster. As a result, NIMAT White is required to deploy in support of FEMA
Regions when activated for disasters or readiness events. NIMAT White requires transport of mission critical communications equipment, emergency generators, deployable shelters, and other administrative and operational supplies. The team uses trucks and cargo vans to transport this
equipment and this truck bed cap would increase the capability to safely and securely transport response equipment.
This task order will provide a cargo truck bed cap to increase the capability and capacity to be highly expeditionary and achieve a rapid response for events spanning numerous jurisdictions covering many diverse emergency response disciplines and also support deployments for training
and exercise events.
